Runnemede NJ Domestic Violence Homicide SuspectA resident of Runnemede NJ who was previously convicted of committing child abuse against his young daughter now faces domestic violence homicide charges after the victim died.

The suspect, a 33-year-old man who lives in Runnemede New Jersey, abused his infant daughter almost 14 years ago in Lansing, Michigan. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with child neglect and child abuse. He eventually pleaded guilty to the very serious criminal charges and was sentenced to three years behind bars in a Michigan state prison. At the conclusion of his prison sentence, the suspect moved from Michigan to Camden County, New Jersey.

When the suspect dropped his young child on the pavement outside his Michigan home, she sustained catastrophic personal injuries. Afterwards, the victim was left with permanent brain damage that left her unable to walk, talk, or eat without help.

In November 2015, the victim finally succumbed to her injuries. Michigan medical examiners conducted an autopsy on the victim and found that her death was a result of “circumstances related to the child abuse case.”

The suspect is going to face the murder charges in a Michigan courtroom. He was recently extradited from Camden County to Michigan.

If the suspect is found guilty of first degree murder, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
