Tadd Yearing is an experienced family law attorney who handles a number of restraining order cases and trials for the Tormey Law Firm LLC with fantastic results. For example, he has handled hundreds of these cases for our firm over the years with very satisfied clients. In fact, he is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney and represents clients with a variety of divorce, custody, equitable distribution and domestic violence issues. He was recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer several years in a a row as a rising star in the Family Law practice area which includes restraining orders and domestic violence.

He has experience with a broad range of matters impacting upon divorcing parties and families generally, including: child and parent relocation, emancipation, grandparents’ rights, guardianships, military divorce, DCPP, prenuptial agreements, asset valuation and protection, alimony, establishing and modifying child support, payment of college, establishing and modifying parenting time, post-judgment modifications to custody and support, palimony and appellate review of trial court decisions.

Mr. Yearing is an Early Settlement Panelist in Morris and Bergen Counties and runs the family law blog site The (NJ)FLB.  His writings have been published in the New Jersey Law Journal, The Alternative Press, and elsewhere. He has also been a guest of New York radio talk show host Nina Del Rio on 106.7 Lite FM discussing current topics in family law.

Prior to starting Yearing Law, L.L.C., Mr. Yearing practiced with a boutique firm devoted exclusively to matrimonial and family law matters as well as in the family law department of a large firm.

He clerked for the Honorable George W. Parsons, Jr. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part, Bergen County. During law school, Mr. Yearing was active with Seton Hall University’s Center for Social Justice civil litigation clinic.

Mr. Yearing is recognized as a New Jersey Rising Star for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 editions.
